Assign a task to an Operator

Start with a manageable proposal you can review. A workshop agenda makes a useful first exercise.

Requirements

An Operator suited to your task is available to you. Their description covers an appropriate area of work.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Operator.
  2. Read the task description and select Open Operator, or Open conversations for an Operator you've used before.
  3. Check whether an existing conversation has opened.
  4. Start a new conversation for the new topic using New chat with … or New Operator chat.
  5. Describe your task and use Send to submit it.

Example task

Draft an agenda for an internal team workshop.

Setup: Eight people, 90 minutes, online.
Goal: Select three concrete improvements to the way we work together.

Result: A table with duration, agenda item and expected outcome.
Include a short break. The durations should add up to 90 minutes.

For now, create only the proposal in this conversation.
Ask if any essential information is missing.

Respond to questions

Reply in the same conversation. If the Operator requests approval before an action, read the proposed scope and decide using the action provided.

Review the result

Add up the durations yourself. Check that the agenda fits the group size and provides time to select three improvements.

Then request a specific change:

Allow ten more minutes for prioritization.
Shorten the introduction to make room. Keep the total at 90 minutes.

The agenda is a draft. Creating a calendar event, sending an invitation or sending a message would be additional actions that need their own instructions and verification.
