Turn notes into a summary

You have meeting notes and want to clearly separate decisions, tasks and open questions.

Requirements

You need access to Chat and notes you're allowed to use in Arqent. For practice, use the fictional workshop notes.

Follow these steps

  1. Open New chat.
  2. Describe how you want the information organized and paste your notes.
  3. Send the request.
  4. Compare the result with the original notes.
  5. Ask for a more compact version if needed.
From these notes, create:
1. Decisions made
2. Tasks with owners and deadlines
3. Open questions

Use only explicitly stated details. Mark missing owners and
deadlines as open.

Review the result

Make sure proposals haven't been presented as agreed decisions. Check that dates are assigned correctly. A date next to one task isn't automatically the deadline for the entire initiative.

Ask for a table

Show the tasks as a table with task, owner and deadline.
Keep all missing information marked as open.

If no owners are named in the notes, “open” is a correct result. Agree the missing details with your team.

Use the result

Use Copy to copy the reviewed answer into your working documents. To share it with a project team, deliberately choose the appropriate shared area.
