Prepare onboarding for your team¶
A good introduction gives new users a concrete first task and a clear way to get support.
Before the first session¶
- Check access: Invitation, correct work email address and assignment to the organization.
- Check Chat: Try a simple request with the intended user permissions.
- Choose Operators: Provide suitable Operators with understandable task descriptions.
- Clarify project access: Assign only the projects and roles needed.
- Prepare data: Use fictional or approved sample content.
- Name support contacts: Share an internal contact for access questions and the support route.
Share a short learning path¶
Point new users to these three articles:
Then add the area that fits their role: Operators, Projects or Drive.
Use the language selector to share the English or German version of an article. The screenshots use the English app in both versions.
Check understanding with a task¶
Ask new users to turn the sample notes into a task table. Then ask them to explain which details remain open and where they can find the conversation again.
For the next task, ask them to choose the right area themselves and explain what data or permissions they need.
Collect feedback¶
Record unclear terms, actions that are hard to find and missing prerequisites. Update the relevant guides when the interface changes, keeping both language versions aligned.
Test with the intended user access
An administrator view shows more options than a regular user account. Check the onboarding experience with the roles users will actually have.
